Mick Haggerty grew up in England where he studied graphic art design and began work as a designer of record album covers. He moved to Los Angeles in 1973 at age 24 and got his US start by doing album covers for designer Rod Dyer. Eventually, Haggerty began planning record marketing campaigns and directed his first music video in 1980...


...His album covers frequently combined references to American culture with a mixture of design and art, while his videos often use montage.
